U Osnovnoj školi „Miladin Radojević“ u Kalinoviku srpske snage su 1992. držale bošnjačke civile iz Kalinovika te iz općina Gacko, Nevesinje, Foča i Trnovo; prema presudi Suda BiH, riječ je o oko 300 osoba u periodu od juna do septembra 1992. Prema presudama ICTY-a, zatočene je čuvala Stanica javne sigurnosti Kalinovik, a neki zatočeni su tučeni i ubijeni.

In the summer of 1992, Serb forces detained hundreds of Bosniak civilians in the "Miladin Radojević" Elementary School in Kalinovik, among them nearly two hundred women, children and elderly people from Gacko. In August 1992, Suad Hasanbegović, Sejdo Kešo and Edin Bičo were taken from a classroom and killed; their remains were identified in 2009. For the crime committed at the school, the Court of BiH finally sentenced Novica Tripković to eight years in prison.
